Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to prepare datasets for weekend reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within the weekend operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical models.
- Perform rigorous data quality checks and cleaning to ensure 100% accuracy in all deliverables.
- Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for executive leadership, highlighting performance against strategic goals.
- Optimize SQL queries and database structures to enhance the efficiency of our batch processing workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of working in a weekend shift environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
