Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and transform large, unstructured datasets into accurate, structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for non-technical stakeholders and government officials.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection processes and enhance data governance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the government, consulting, or non-profit sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization Tools: Extensive experience creating visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
