Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity before analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to visualize trends and performance metrics for stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write advanced SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and support ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify patterns, predict future trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate data findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and recommend solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
