Responsibilities
- Extract, Clean, and Transform Data: Utilize SQL and Python to query databases and prepare high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Develop Dashboards: Create interactive and visual data dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Business Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, translating complex data findings into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and recommend solutions to improve data quality and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and impact.
