Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and summaries that drive strategic decision-making for the executive team.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from our data warehouse.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and improve data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and spreadsheet software (Excel).
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data quality and source.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
