Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve data and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within our data collection and reporting workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI).
- Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work on weekends as part of the scheduled shift.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail in data analysis.
