Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and analyze complex datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategies.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement new data models and processes to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist in forecasting sales, market trends, and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
