Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Analytics & Modeling: Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models to identify business trends and opportunities.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and support product development.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, analysis processes, and findings to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
- Forecasting: Develop forecasting models to assist in budgeting and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
- Tools: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and spreadsheet software (Excel).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management.
