Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to present findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- SQL & Database Management: Write efficient SQL queries to extract data and collaborate with database administrators.
- Strategic Recommendations: Translate data insights into strategic recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in New York and Philadelphia to understand business needs and data requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be eligible to work in the United States with a preference for candidates in Philadelphia or New York.
