As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our analytics team, bridging the gap between data and business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into actionable business insights.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and recommend automation or optimization strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying, Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and Google Analytics.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must reside within or be willing to work remotely from the Houston, TX area.
