Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and clear, compelling reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract specific data points required for analysis.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support business planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python or R.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
- Tools: Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
