Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and recommend data-driven strategies to improve business performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define key metrics and track KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R.
- Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors in data and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
