We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our elite team in Nashville, TN. As a part-time member of our data science squad, you will leverage your expertise to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive growth for top-tier technology clients. What You'll Do:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• Perform statistical analysis to uncover trends and anomalies in large datasets.
• Automate reporting processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Communicate data-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Visualization: Build compelling data visualizations and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- SQL & Python: Write complex SQL queries and utilize Python scripts to manipulate and analyze data.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for leadership and clients.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current data workflows and propose innovative solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert in data analysis, translating technical concepts into business value.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the technology sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Availability: Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week, primarily during core business hours in Nashville, TN.
