Responsibilities
- Perform Data Cleaning & Transformation: Extract, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL and Python to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that translate technical findings into clear, non-technical business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to understand data needs and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining data warehouses and ensuring data lineage documentation is up to date.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the tech or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Excel for advanced data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Availability: Must be available to work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a preference for remote or hybrid flexibility within the Phoenix area.
