Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Reporting: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data workflows.
- Database Management: Maintain and optimize SQL databases to support ongoing analytical projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful business insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and ETL tools is a plus.
