Responsibilities
- Extract & Clean Data: Gather, scrub, and organize complex datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support strategic planning.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and findings for team reference.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with Python or R.
- Visualization: Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from raw data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must reside in Austin, Texas.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
