Capital Insight Systems is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC. As a night shift Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our data governance framework, ensuring stakeholders receive timely and accurate insights. You will work in a collaborative environment that values precision and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets using SQL and Python to support 24/7 reporting needs.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify anomalies and trends, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and improve reporting processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all night-shift reporting channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a high-volume or government-related environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
