Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, validate, and clean large volumes of data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends that inform business strategy and operational improvements.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive nightly reports and executive summaries for the management team, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
- Database Management: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize database queries and improve data retrieval processes for the night shift workflow.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex data findings to cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Python or R scripting is a plus.
- Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
