Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Visual Analytics: Design and develop compelling dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets to drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and optimize existing data workflows for efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data models, metrics definitions, and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Night Shift Experience: Previous experience working in a night shift or 24/7 operational environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Virginia area is required, with assistance provided.
