In this pivotal position, you will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable strategy. You will be responsible for cleaning, modeling, and visualizing data to support decision-making processes that run around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & ETL: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy for nightly reporting cycles.
- Statistical Modeling: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within operational data sets.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain dynamic dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the night shift team.
- SQL Optimization: Write efficient, optimized SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, pipelines, and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11 PM - 7 AM or 12 AM - 8 AM).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical leadership.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling large volumes of data and complex datasets.
