The Role:
As our Night Shift Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and presenting clear insights to cross-functional stakeholders. Your ability to spot anomalies and optimize reporting processes will be crucial to our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in historical data, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the 2nd shift operations team to deliver timely reports and ensure data-driven decision-making processes are seamless.
- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor data pipelines and reporting workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data security protocols and maintain accurate documentation of data sources and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
