As a Night Shift Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between our operational teams and executive leadership by delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that drive our strategic initiatives forward.
Responsibilities
- Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Manage data pipelines to ensure clean, accurate, and timely data for nightly reporting.
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on historical data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with night operations managers to understand data needs and translate business questions into technical queries.
- Quality Assurance: Validate data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies in reporting systems.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for data models, processes, and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Ability to write scripts in Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
