In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, creating visualizations, and providing strategic recommendations to drive our business forward. You will work closely with leadership to identify trends and optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support decision-making processes.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business language.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to improve operational workflows.
- Database Management: Query databases using SQL to retrieve specific datasets and support ad-hoc analytical requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
