Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Datasets: Interpret large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Data Mining & SQL: Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to forecast trends and support strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand data needs and communicate findings effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization by analyzing current data workflows and suggesting improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to work on-site in Houston, TX.
