Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to equity options and market trends to identify patterns and insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex financial data for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to provide actionable data-driven recommendations and support risk management strategies.
- Perform statistical analysis and forecasting models to predict market movements and option pricing volatility.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous quality control processes.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services or equity options sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expert knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
