Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of equity options data, including volatility, open interest, and pricing models.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize market trends and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to identify patterns and anomalies in financial datasets.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to support strategic trading decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating source data and implementing quality control measures.
- Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to improve processing speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services or equity markets sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Deep understanding of financial concepts, specifically options trading and derivatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
