What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with senior analysts to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of our data warehouses to ensure high data quality.
- Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and market research projects.
- Participate in regular team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay updated on industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Dashboard Development: Utilize tools like Tableau or PowerBI to build dynamic dashboards that track KPIs and business metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in the data.
- Reporting: Draft clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for product and marketing teams.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve specific data subsets for ad-hoc analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required for entry-level roles.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with or willingness to learn data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Remote Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
