Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and clear, concise reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data sets and support business inquiries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within our data workflows and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; strong Excel skills including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in New Orleans, LA.
