As a Data Analyst at Apex Data Systems, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize business processes. You will be responsible for maintaining our data integrity and ensuring our reporting infrastructure is robust and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity through rigorous cleaning and preprocessing.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track performance metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, understandable business insights.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and reporting workflows.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
