As a Data Analyst at Apex Analytics, you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and business strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify trends, generate reports, and recommend actionable solutions that directly impact our bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract actionable insights.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to executive leadership.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and operational inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define data requirements and KPIs.
- Maintain and update existing reporting frameworks to reflect changing business needs.
- Document data processes and provide training to junior analysts and non-technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
