Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to support business forecasting and strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization based on data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills), Python, or R.
- Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Prepare clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Utilize statistical modeling and forecasting techniques to predict future trends and support decision-making.
- Optimize data pipelines and improve data collection methodologies to enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and data extraction.
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Proven track record of creating compelling visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
