Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business growth.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL to query databases, extract specific datasets, and perform data modeling.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data infrastructure efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and executives to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Solid experience creating data visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems using data-driven approaches.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
