Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Investigate advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day exploits
- Lead incident response coordination for critical infrastructure breaches
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with forensic teams on malware analysis and reverse engineering
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for financial services clients
- Maintain SOAR playbooks for automated threat response
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on SIEM experience
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Proficiency in network security tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common attack vectors
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations environment
