Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage SIEM operations and incident response protocols
- Develop security automation using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate on cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA standards
- Lead security awareness training for enterprise teams
- Document security policies and procedural improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in enterprise security operations or SOC environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Experience with cloud security (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
