Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Lead incident response protocols during security breaches
- Develop security awareness training programs for staff
- Manage SIEM tools and analyze security event logs
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture design
- Document security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certification required: CISSP or CEH (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for critical incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
