Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms and respond to incidents
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches
- Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and protocols
- Stay updated on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
