Responsibilities
- Implement and manage advanced threat detection systems (SIEM, EDR)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations
- Develop and maintain security policies & compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure cloud architecture
- Mentor junior security engineers
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust models
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with forensic investigation experience
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
