Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop incident response playbooks and threat mitigation strategies
- Manage SIEM operations and security automation workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Document security protocols and compliance reports
- Lead forensic investigations during security incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with CISSP/CISA certification
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network defense
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work under pressure during high-stakes incidents
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
