Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and respond to alerts
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Document security findings and provide actionable recommendations
- Assist in incident response planning and breach mitigation
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability scanners
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
