Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Implement and maintain security controls for equity trading platforms
- Collaborate with day-shift teams on incident response and threat intelligence
- Document security procedures and compliance reports for regulatory audits
- Perform forensic analysis on security events and recommend mitigations
- Stay current with emerging threats in financial cybersecurity landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security, encryption, and threat detection tools
- Experience with financial systems and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or scripting for automation
