Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats specific to equity trading platforms and options systems
- Implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems for financial data
- Conduct weekend vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents during off-hours with rapid mitigation protocols
- Manage SIEM alerts and correlate threat intelligence for financial systems
- Develop security controls for options trading compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in network security, encryption, and threat detection
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and financial industry compliance standards
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
