Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms 24/7 with emphasis on weekend shifts
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and threat intelligence
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Develop incident response playbooks for weekend operations
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat mitigation strategies
- Perform vulnerability assessments on trading infrastructure
- Lead weekend security drills and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH required
- Expert knowledge of equity options trading systems and protocols
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection tools
- Experience with weekend shift operations in 24/7 environments
- Strong understanding of financial regulations (SOX, GDPR, MiFID II)
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
