Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of trading systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Develop compliance frameworks for FINRA, SEC, and NIST regulations
- Collaborate with trading teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines
- Lead threat hunting initiatives for trading-specific attack vectors
- Document security procedures and conduct employee training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in financial services
- Expertise in securing trading platforms and equity options systems
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of market data protocols (FIX, OUCH,ITCH)
- Ability to work under pressure during market volatility
