Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity trading platforms and options systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial applications
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time using SIEM tools
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to FINRA and SEC regulations
- Develop threat intelligence reports specific to financial sector cyber risks
- Lead incident response planning and tabletop exercises for trading systems
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices for financial data handling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial systems
- CISSP or CISM certification required
- Expert knowledge of equity options trading platforms and market data protocols
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security architectures
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
