Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct real-time threat hunting and incident response for financial transaction systems
- Develop security protocols for option pricing engines and order matching systems
- Perform penetration testing on trading APIs and market data feeds
- Lead forensic investigations of security incidents involving financial data
- Coordinate with compliance teams on SOX and FINRA regulatory requirements
- Automate security monitoring using SIEM tools and custom scripts
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in protecting trading systems and financial data
- Strong knowledge of equity options trading mechanics
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) for security automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure financial regulatory environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
