Responsibilities
- Monitor and mitigate cyber threats to equity options trading platforms in real-time
- Develop security frameworks for options trading algorithms and order execution systems
- Conduct penetration testing on financial applications and network infrastructure
- Coordinate incident response for trading system security breaches
- Implement zero-trust architecture for trading environment access controls
- Stay current on FINRA, SEC, and NY cybersecurity regulations
- Maintain SIEM tuning for options market data feeds and trading APIs
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience in financial services or fintech
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in options trading systems or financial market data protocols
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Understanding of FIX protocol and market data encryption standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) for trading infrastructure
- Ability to work under pressure during market volatility events
