Responsibilities
- Design and implement cybersecurity protocols for equity options trading systems
- Monitor network activity using SIEM tools to detect and mitigate trading platform threats
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial applications
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Develop incident response plans for trading system breaches
- Collaborate with trading teams to integrate security into daily operations
- Stay current on emerging threats in financial services cybersecurity
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Expertise in equity options trading systems and protocols
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Knowledge of FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and encryption standards
- Strong analytical skills for threat modeling and risk assessment
