Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms from sophisticated cyber attacks using SIEM tools and threat intelligence
- Conduct penetration testing on trading systems and implement security patches for vulnerabilities
- Develop incident response protocols for financial data breaches and coordinate cross-functional mitigation efforts
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and PCI-DSS regulations for financial security frameworks
- Collaborate with trading teams to integrate security controls into equity options workflows
- Analyze attack vectors specific to financial markets and design proactive defense strategies
- Maintain encryption standards for sensitive transaction data and audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial services or trading platforms
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial domain specialization
- Expertise in threat modeling for equity options systems and market data protocols
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and penetration testing suites
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks: SEC Rule 15c3-5, FINRA 22-45
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized trading environments
