Responsibilities
- Design and implement cybersecurity frameworks for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop threat detection models specific to options market manipulation tactics
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Collaborate with traders to understand attack vectors in option pricing models
- Lead incident response for trading platform breaches
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence and penetration testing
- Deep understanding of options trading mechanics and market microstructure
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Knowledge of FINRA Rule 15c3-5 and SEC cybersecurity regulations
- Proficiency in Python for security automation
