Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced threat detection systems for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Develop incident response protocols for trading-specific cyber attacks
- Collaborate with trading teams to ensure compliance with SEC/NY cybersecurity regulations
- Lead security audits for options exchange integrations
- Train staff on secure trading practices and emerging threats
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services focus
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in protecting trading platforms and options systems
- Experience with SOC operations and SIEM tools
- Knowledge of FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations
- Strong background in network security and encryption protocols
- Ability to work under pressure during market volatility
